BTCCSquare news:

Meta Platforms (META) plans to spend more than $600 billion on artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure by 2028, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced. The accelerated investment—significantly higher than initial forecasts—will fuel demand for U.S. chipmakers like Nvidia (NVDA) and Broadcom (AVGO), both critical suppliers for Meta's data centers.

The company aims to deploy 1.3 million Nvidia processors by year-end to support its AI clusters. Meta is also expanding use of its custom MTIA chips, co-developed with Broadcom, to train AI models. The spending spree extends to data center partners Arista Networks (ANET) and Astera Labs (ALAB), capitalizing on the AI-driven infrastructure boom.

In June, Meta secured a 20-year nuclear energy deal with Constellation Energy (CEG) to power its operations—a MOVE underscoring the scale of its AI ambitions. "Quite possible" investments could exceed $600 billion if AI progress continues accelerating, Zuckerberg noted.
